We have desired a viable alternative to clubbing
for too long-if you want to have conversations, access to networking opportunities and a muti-faceted social life, become a
member of Tha Sistahood and enhance
your enjoyment of black lesbian life.
Tha Sistahood is 100% privately funded, with no subsidies for advertising, running our office or organising events. This allows us
the freedom to provide events for us, by
us, which helps us to guarantee that there will be no dilution of our ethos
& commitment to our overall vision.
That vision is to empower ourselves through
giving black lesbians what has been lacking on ‘the scene’. We are an intelligent group of queens with a spectrum
of interests and talents-our minds need to be stimulated with meeting like-minded sistas who will positively reinforce us.
It’s about time black women are given the choice to strengthen the Zami pound & invest in something that will always cater to them first.
Tha Sistahood recognises that the black lesbian community is about more than just raving.
